Water Activities in Los Cabos

Home to Land’s End and the famous “El Arco” at the tip of Baja California Sur — where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez — Los Cabos offers warm, inviting waters more than nine months of the year. Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo and the surrounding region are packed with water activities: stand-up paddleboarding, boat tours, parasailing, flyboarding, luxury yacht rentals and whale watching. Traveling with family? There’s plenty to keep everyone busy, from dolphin experiences and banana-boat rides to public beaches perfect for a swim.

Tel: 624-130-6994 | Website

Experience the amazement of diving without heavy gear. SNUBA lets you glide well below the surface breathing through an easy-to-use regulator attached to a floating air supply on the surface. Wearing just a mask and fins, you can explore the reef and spot tropical marine life up close. A brief 15-minute training session is all it takes — no certification or previous experience needed, even with only basic swimming skills. It’s a great option for families and all ages, kids and grandparents included.

Safety training, instructions and transport to and from the Sea of Cortez are included, and each flight lasts about 10 minutes — plenty of time to capture “El Arco” as the backdrop to a selfie. On landing, you may get to dip your feet in the ocean before the boat returns you to Medano Beach or the Marina. Children aged 10+ must be accompanied by an adult.
